"I am a retired Croydon GP.

"I trained in medicine at Charing Cross Hospital Medical School, qualifying in 1976. After junior hospital doctor jobs across the capital, I became a GP in Croydon in 1983. I retired from practice in 2013 and was appointed a Non-executive Director at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust in January 2014.

"I was nominated for the Commission because I have lived in Croydon for 32 years and have experience of working in the NHS in Croydon in both General Practice and now in hospital and community services. I want the Commission to identify assets in the borough that will provide opportunities for all and to make recommendations which will allow Croydon to become a fairer place to live and work."
